Introduction to Natural Dyeing and Banner Making

This two-day workshop will introduce youth to the fundamentals of sewing and surface design. Students will be provided with all materials and tools required to experiment with natural dyeing (with plants!) and surface design techniques. Not only will the participants learn to apply design techniques directly to fabric, but they will also learn how to design and sew a self-reflective banner. Open to ages 11-16 years.
